Hot Water Heaters and Paint

Touch-Up paint and the hot water closet

Paint in cans, spray-paints or 5 gallon buckets should not be stored in the hot water closet. This is a fire hazard and can also interfere with the hot water heater operations. Please remove any cans from this area and store in a cabinet away from the water heater.
